I lived on the North Carolina coast for many years, and one of the most intriguing places I know is Diamond Shoals, nicknamed The Graveyard of the Atlantic (and rightly so!). This mystery features authentic history against a wildly changing geographic backdrop of shifting shoals that snared many a ship over the years.
