Carole Marsh grew up in Georgia reading Nancy Drew and Hardy Boy mysteries. But she was truly enthralled with a Social Circle author, Wylly Folk St. John, who wrote mystery books for children set in Georgia.

“I just imagined it was all real and I was a real character in the books! Later, when I began to write mystery books for 7-14 year olds, I chose real settings for my locations and used real children as characters in the books. Peachtree City and the surrounding area have provided me with many wonderful real-kid characters. I’ve enjoyed getting to know them, visiting at their schools, and watching them grow up!
